Summary of Job Duties:

This job requires the Hooters Girl to interact with and entertain the Hooters customers. The essence of the job is based on socially acceptable female sex appeal. It is required that the Hooters Girl sells food, beverage and merchandise to the Guests. It is also required that the Hooters Girl attends and participates in company sponsored promotions to help ensure the success of the concept.

Specific and Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
• Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service
• Suggestive sell Hooters merchandise to all Guests
• Up-sell alcoholic beverage
• Accurately writes order on check or memorizes it and then transfers order to POS system
• Asks Guest for food temperatures on specific menu items
• Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars
• Garnishes and decorates dishes prior to serving
• Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed
• Totals bill and accepts payment or refers patron to Cashier
• Clears and resets counters or tables at conclusion of each course
• Serve food prepared in the kitchen to Guests
• Serve beverages to Guests
• Remove dishes, cutlery, glasses and paper product from tables as needed
• Present food and beverage bill to Guest for payment
• Complete all assigned side work which may include any combination of the following duties:
• Filling table condiments which include salt & pepper shakers and sugar/sugar substitute caddies
• Wipe down and clean soda, milk, juice, tea, hot chocolate and coffee dispensers. Front and/or back station
• Wipe down and clean stainless steel top and bottom
• Stock juices
• Wipe down and clean refrigerator inside and outside
• Change out all salad containers
• Restock salad bar and salad items storage area
• Stock all dishes, salad plates, soup bowls, toast plates, monkey dishes, and all silverware including soup spoons, steak knives and cocktail forks
• Complete wipe down and cleaning of serving station
• Wipe down and clean the area from the syrup dispenser to the salad bar
• Change the breadboard
• Refill and/or stock the syrup, all the breads products
• Wipe down and clean the tray area
• Continuous monitoring and replacement, if needed, of the ice for the butter
• Refill and/or restock the croutons, crackers, vinegar & oil, lemons and condiment on both side stations
• Run the service trays through the washer and dry them
• Additional cleaning and stocking as requested by management
• Provide an entertaining atmosphere for Guest by dancing, singing, game playing, etc.
• Participate in Company sponsored and/or authorized promotions to help ensure the success of Hooters Casino Hotel
• Adhere to Hooters Girl Image standards at all times during shift
• Ready to take photographs with Guests at anytime
• Will be required to work as a Hostess periodically as requested
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledgeable of menu items, including characteristics of wine and champagne by the glass, major wines, liquor brands, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, terminology, and garnishes
• Knowledgeable of standard kitchen equipment and supplies, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators, and coolers, slicers and beverage machines
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
• Knowledgeable of computers and Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
• Knowledge of hotel services, features, local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

Minimum Requirements:
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

Preferred:
• One (1) year of Food and Beverage experience in a high-paced environment with food service experience
• Experience working in a similar resort setting
• Knowledge of various beers and spirits

Licenses:
• Health Card | Food Handler Card
• Alcohol Awareness Card

Machinery or Work Equipment Used:

• POS register, telephone, beverage machine
