At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau.

Responsibilities of the Material Services Supervisor include, but are not limited to, the following:
Managing/supervising bargaining unit material coordinator personnel for material acquisitions, storage, and inventory control of work package and consumable materials in compliance with CPCCo procedures and policies.
Managing the material asset systems and the training and development of the material coordinator staff to provide adequate material asset handling (including disposition and excess of material) to the end users in the field.
Accountable for facility and personnel safety based on the principle of no injuries to anyone and set challenging goals for personal and group accomplishments.
Working with customers to help ensure that materials are on the jobsite in accordance with commitments.
Reviewing and assigning work to material coordinators assuring all BOMs and Material Requests are filled out correctly and completely.
Keeping the projects informed of the status of all materials, for applicable discipline, on an assigned BOM/MR.
Following through by working with the procurement department in the issuance of a purchase order.
Supporting development of procedures within Maintenance/Materials/Spare Parts responsibilities to ensure timely efficient delivery of materials.
Preparing and issuing status and control reports as required.
Assisting in conducting material control CPCCo training programs.
Coordinating equipment spare parts requirements with CPCCo Material Spare Parts Specialists, including requisitioning and status reporting.
Assisting CPCCo Material Spare Parts Specialist in maintaining spare parts inventories.
Maintaining material relative to work packages, consumables, and convenience storage material tracking and control.
Maintaining warehouses and database/processes for these inventories and implement reorders as needed.
Preparing and dispositioning DOE's, SSR's, SAR's.
Implementing purging/excessing process to clean out obsolete equipment across CPCCo projects, assigned connex boxes, and all site general purpose areas.
Overseeing excessing program and interfacing with HMIS to remove excess from the site.
Recommending procedure/policy changes for continuous improvement and develop implementation plans, as necessary.
Supporting coordination of all CPCCo materials storage functions Basic Qualifications US Citizen Manager Grade 18 - BA/BS degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus a minimum of 8 years relevant experience Manager Grade 19 - BA/BS degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus a minimum of 8 years relevant experience The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact.
The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications Experience related to acquisition of materials, handling, storage and transportation, disposal of hazardous materials, excess items, P-card issues, and supply chain process.
Experience leading material assets and property supply chain within the DOE.
Compensation & Benefits In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market.
CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Grade 18:
$101,525 - $128,075 Grade 19:
$111,588 - $140,663 In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
