Senior System Administrator
Plateau Inc is seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to support its DoD customers. DoD Secret clearance is required.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for administering cloud-based solutions in Azure Gov Cloud.
• System Administration and Management of Windows based systems.
• Provide auditing and logging capability for systems under their administrative control.
• Implement all security measures including hardening of server OS and software as per STIG guidelines.
• Support and Windows system hardening and patching activities using DoD approved tools such as ACAS and HBSS.
• Manage security incidents by identifying, reporting, and providing incident response as required.
• Support RMF related activities including creating the necessary artifacts, policies and documents necessary to satisfy the RMF process.
• Maintain infrastructure and systems as required by approved System Security Plans (SSPs)
• Support the information security incident management program to ensure the prevention, detection, containment, and correction of security breaches.
• Maintain system documentation to include detailed hardware and software lists.
Requirements:
• Bachelors or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university – Computer Science, Computer Engineering Degree, Cyber Security, Computer Information Systems Degree or Management Information Systems.
• Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in System Administration tasks supporting DoD Business Systems.
• 2 to 3 years of hands on experience with Azure or AWS Cloud Services.
• Experience with Systems administration of cloud environments Azure/AWS.
• Proficient in administering Windows Servers with MS SQL Server, IIS Web Server, and Power BI.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory groups, GPOs, user accounts, and other objects.
• Experience with Windows System patching and troubleshooting systems that will not automatically patch. Ability to build and customize Windows images for deployment within a large organization.
• Experience with Multifactor authentication, CAC/Smartcard PKI and certificate management in a Windows environment.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery technologies. Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.
• Experience in DoD RMF
• Clearance Level: Active Secret.
• Security+ or CISSP certification
Preferred Skills:
• DevSecOps implementation experience is desired for developing Infrastructure as Code(IaC)
• Azure Administrator Associate certification is desired.
