Required Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Education (Teaching Certification preferred)
Experience teaching in an elementary school
Able to teach elementary level Math, Science, Social, Studies, and English. Ability to teach French as well, a plus.
Successful Applicants Must Demonstrate
Knowledge of American curriculum and evaluation systems
Proven experience in programming for students of all abilities, interests and learning styles
Ability to skillfully manage and engage students in a classroom setting
Ability to effectively document student learning (reporting and recording), and use assessments and evaluations to guide instruction
On-going commitment to student success
Professional and respectful attitude with parents, colleagues and administration
Superior organizational and time-management skills
Ability to function collaboratively as a member of a team or committee
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with parents, staff and administration
Conflict resolution skills
