Team Overview

We are looking for an Information Technology Change Management Leader to spearhead and manage our Digital Production Assurance & Resiliency Change Management team. Edward Jones Production Assurance is responsible for guarding and protecting the production environment utilizing ITIL(Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices for Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management. Our IT Change Management team is specifically responsible for assessing impact, reviewing plans, prioritizing conflicts, and managing the risk associated with the Edward Jones Digital change portfolio. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills, who can manage our change management team and drive best practices and disciplines throughout our organization.

What you will do:
• Manage the change management organization and oversee all aspects of change management for the Edward Jones Digital change portfolio, including direct people leadership responsibility for teams within the Department, the development, refinement and ongoing evolution of the delivery framework, methodologies, tools, etc. while focusing on enabling our digital transformation,
• Participate as part of a matrixed organization that drives the Edward Jones fast paced digital transformation strategy while ensuring the risk of changes are well understood and managed,
• Act as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor to peers on all aspects of change management, and partner with delivery organizations to ensure change management frameworks, methodologies, tools, and best practices are understood and adopted,
• Develop KPIs and metrics driven reporting that communicates an accurate picture of the risks, successes and challenges associated with implementing our digital changes.

What you'll have an immediate impact on:
• Driving the maturation of the Edward Jones change management process toward recognized best practices and standards,
• Developing and communicating change management policies and procedures across the digital organization, including influencing its adoption and exposing it to senior leadership.

Qualifications

What experiences you’ll need:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, management information systems or a related field of study,
• Five+ years' experience overseeing and leading a technology change management program focused on ensuring relevant change management procedures, controls, and best practices are in place,
• Seven+ years’ experience with direct people management responsibilities,
• Excellent oral and written communications skills, including experience working and communicating with executive leaders,
• Exceptional matrix management and influencing skills utilizing a collaborative approach,
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and an ability to identify conflicts, discrepancies and other issues and bring together the right team to solution them,
• Demonstrated ability at implementing and utilizing metrics and key performance indicators in the managing of a mature change management program.

What may set you apart:
• ITIL(Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and/or change management certifications,
• Experience managing vendors in delivering statements of work associated with digital change management programs of work,
• Understanding and experience with AGILE best practices (AGILE coach/certifications a plus)
• Experience in the financial services industry
• Experience with ServiceNow and JIRA,
• DevOps experience,
• Development experience,
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, and the challenges and opportunities of managing technologies as a service.
