Jeff’s Marine, Inc. – Part-Time Seasonal – 30+ Hours/Week – Designated Weekends for Summer Season & Boat Shows
Reports to the General Manager
Overview
The parts department is a key component of Jeff’s Marine. They assist customers with finding the correct parts for their projects. They assist in ordering parts for mechanics, individual customers, and other boatyards, and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
Responsibilities & Duties
Duties include: ordering parts; checking in & receiving parts as they arrive; looking up parts for customers; keeping the parts room organized; answering phone calls & taking messages when appropriate; and other tasks as assigned.

Desired skills include: ability to demonstrate professional behavior, showing respect for customers & coworkers; ability to communicate clearly and in a timely manner; ability to work as a team player and assist others on short notice; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to work independently and identify areas of improvement; and ability to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Qualifications include: ability to lift 50+ lbs.; and ability to stand for long periods of time.

Desired skills and certifications include: experience working in boatyards; boat operation experience and basic water safety knowledge; and valid Maine driver’s license
