Yazara is a new software development company from the PayCore family, a leader in SoftPOS and the payment acceptance industry. Yazara, headquartered in New York, builds on PayCore's 20+ years of leadership and serves over 50 clients worldwide. Yazara is a state-of-the-art SoftPOS solution and payment acceptance suite designed to transform all smartphones and tablets into POS terminals. It allows merchants of all sizes to securely accept EMV payments of any amount with contactless cards, mobile wallets, and wearables on their own mobile devices.
Responsibilities
• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles,
• Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close,
• Work with external departments, vendors, and foreign partners to resolve issues and ensure timely processing of payments,
• Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes,
• Research and analyze expense variances for company management,
• Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and other records to ensure all business transactions are recorded,
• Collect and register accounts payable invoices and perform reconciliations,
• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned,
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed,
• Accountant will work closely with the Financial Reporting Manager in Turkey & CFO in USA.
Qualifications
• Fluency in English is a must,
• 4+ years' of professional accounting experience in big4 companies as Senior Accountant.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experiencei
• CPA certification is preferred,
• Knowledge of SAP is a must, FI or CO modules are preferred.
• Experience in fast growing fin-tech start up is preferred.
