Job Purpose
The Assistant Manager / Host is responsible for assisting the managers of our Newest Bally’s Lincoln Expansion, Emerald Bay Food Hall, including input into the development of its sales, people and profits. Managing in accordance with established standards and procedures. Increase sales by ensuring memorable guest experiences that create a sense of value and great customer service. Optimizes profits by assisting in controlling cost of goods and labor. Supervises all departmental operations accordingly and ensures that all standards for quality and service are met.
This in addition to delivering a Promise of creating a memorable experience and a genuine sense of Comfort for every Guest. This to include professionally Greeting our Guests.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of successful experience with FOH sales and cost responsibility in comparable operation
• Bilingual is preferred.
• Demonstrate competence in teambuilding, quality operations, problem solving, and administration
• Ability to use Micros point-of-sale and reservation software and equipment along with Microsoft Office software
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining daily standards
License Requirements
• DBR-RI
• Alcohol awareness server training
Essential Job Functions
• Ensures daily compliance with all government and regulatory requirements as well as all Bally's Lincoln Twin River policies and procedures
• Responsible for all aspects of daily FOH operations for Emerald Bay Food Hall
• Presents a positive image of the restaurant at all times. Interacts with vendors and the public so as to increase the appreciation of the restaurant and the brand in the marketplace
Physical/Mental Requirements
• Work a minimum of 40+ hours per week
• Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
• Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
• Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights
Working Conditions
• Mostly indoors and generally climate-controlled environment
• May be exposed to noise, smoke, and odors
