Sila is looking for an Aerospace Configuration Analyst who will work with our Fortune 500 clients to directly influence aircraft software configuration. This role is a hybrid of working with international clients and Maintenance and IT Engineers to ensure safety and standards are met, as well as, an opportunity to develop project management and leadership skills. This role will allow you to help shape the future of the Aviation industry; the configuration analysis you perform will allow aircraft owners to gain data insight from the airplane leading to faster troubleshooting, optimized task planning, and predictive maintenance to minimize airplane time on-ground.

This person must be located in the Seattle metro area and will be expected to go to the office in person at least one time per week (initially).

What You'll Do:
• Enable airplanes to electronically connect to ground systems to allow for the efficient management of all software parts
• Perform comparative analysis of the standard delivery configuration of aircraft software to the current configuration of the software
• Ensure safety and standards are met for the aircraft
• Develop relationships with aerospace clients all over the world as you learn about major aerospace OEM operations
• Develop processes that may be adopted by airlines and organizations like the FAA and EASA
• Act as a liaison between supply chain vendors
• Grow project management skills and leadership abilities
• Work with a close-knit team in an area of rapid growth

What You'll Bring:
• 3+ years of related work experience
• Strong social and consultative skills to foster and develop relationships with airline customers and various audiences
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience with the basic functions of Excel
• Ability to think logically and present information in a clear manner, make rational decisions, and respond quickly and accurately
• Ability to analytically solve complex problems and make informed recommendations based on detailed data analysis
• Bachelor’s degree with aerospace focus or related aerospace experience
• Configuration management experience a plus (but not required)
