Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the VP, Capital Markets & Investor Relations, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for the graphic design of visual text and imagery concepts for all products related to investor relations, internal and external communications, company presentations, board books, and the quarterly supplemental data report. The successful candidate should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into a branded design that inspires and informs both internal and external audiences.
• Create presentations that encompass new business development and financial reporting
• Design, update, edit and publish marketing and branding materials for various departments as needed
• Work with financial data and information to depict clear, readable, and digestible visuals that enable audiences to understand complex ideas
• Interact regularly with management, including executives, to fulfill material, acquisitions, and research requests
• Assist with implementing Investor Relations strategy and marketing campaigns
• Craft well-written and well-designed branded internal and external communications
• Produce PowerPoint design templates aligned to brand standards to include headers, banners, icons, logos, charts/graphs, infographics, and diagrams
• Evaluate existing digital presentations and make recommendations for and implement improvements
• Design, develop and update graphics for intranet sites
• Maintain knowledge of Sila’s brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all branded elements
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Must have a strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, and have a graphic design background (skills will be tested)
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or related discipline
• Minimum (1) one to (3) three years of hands-on business Graphic Design experience, preferably in finance or real estate industries
• Knowledge and experience designing infographics, financial charts, tables, and graphs
• Displaying complex data in a visually sophisticated, appealing, and engaging format
Other Required and Preferred Skills
• Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress (including WP Engine) and Office 365 (including, but not limited to, Forms, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Sway, and Teams)
• Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
• Must possess strong organizational skills and an attention to detail
• Must be proactive and outgoing with a positive, professional attitude and appearance
• Must have ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under tight deadlines
• Must have ability to produce creative work within an established organizational style
