About University of Arusha
Situated 32 kilometers from the beautiful city of Arusha, closer to the Arusha National Park and between the towering mountains, mountain Kilimanjaro and mountain Meru, is an institution of repute with its own uniqueness. This institution is known as the University of Arusha situated on 250 acres of land. The only University with grammatical article, ‘the’ which goes with the name for easy identification.
This University, the University of Arusha has gone through what can be termed as educational metamorphosis. It began as a college in the 1970’s with few courses. It later expanded its curriculum to incorporate different academic departments. Later it got a license to operate as a university, and later was chartered by the government of the United Republic of Tanzania.

• Assistant Lecturers in Marketing – 5 Posts
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with a GPA of 3.5 and above on a 5 point scale: and
• Masters degree in Marketing with a GPA of 4.0 and above on a 5 point scale.
2. Lecturer in Accounting – 1 Post
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting with a GPA of 3.5 and above on a 5 point scale:
• MBA in Accounting with a GPA of 4.0 and above on a 5 point scale; and
• PhD in Accounting.
Assistant Lecturer in Geography – 1 Post
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a GPA of 3.5 and above on a 5 point scale; and
• Masters degree in Geography with a GPA of 4.0 and above on a 5 point scale.
Assistant Lecturer in History – 3 Posts
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Arts in History with a GPA of 3.5 and above on a 5 point scale; and
• Masters degree in History with a GPA of 4.0 and above on a 5 point scale.
Lecturers in Education Management & Leadership – 3 Posts
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Arts in Education with a GPA of 3.5 and above on a 5 point scale;
• MA in Education (Management & Leadership) with a GPA of 4.0 and above on a 5 point scale; and
• PhD in Education (Management & Leadership).
Lecturers in Education (Curriculum & Instruction) – 3 Posts
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Arts in Education (Curriculum & Instruction) with a GPA of 3.5 and above on a 5 point scale;
• Master’s in Education (Curriculum & Instruction) with a GPA of 4.0 and above on a 5 point scale; and.
• PhD in Education (Curriculum & Instruction).
