OUR PROGRAMS

1. WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

Despite having relatively high rates of female entrepreneurship in Tanzania, various constraints affect the returns to women’s enterprises, for example the lack of access to capital and exclusion from male-dominated sectors, and inadequate access to childcare services.

We empower women through, training them on business skills before and after start their businesses, providing small capital credits to run their businesses and also training them on how to make hand made products and how to sell all of the products made. Some of the products includes; bathing soaps, textile bags, jewelers, bracelets, table mats, and other things.

2. PROVISIONS OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES

This is a partial sponsorship where we support children with school supplies only. Many studies shows that majority of the children in Tanzania study at the public schools where thousands of them don’t have access to school supplies and textbooks.

Without the necessary school supplies, bright young minds lack the quality of education that they need to thrive academically. Too many young people with high potential turn to destructive rather than constructive paths for themselves and their community. We work with the community by supporting these children to acquire quality education by providing them with exercises, pens, pencils, school uniforms, text books, mathematical sett and other things.

3. SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

Fill the gap Sponsorship Program is a Sponsorship Program which base on supporting the children who live in hardship environment to go school from kindergarten to university here in Tanzania. Many of the families in Tanzania experience financial hardships due to various reasons like; crop failure, diseases, divorce of parent or death of one or all parent(s), whereby We came up with Fill the Gap Sponsorship Program (FGSP) to help a Tanzanian children who is in need and face the above mentioned and unmentioned challenges to have a quality education as one of the human right.

The Program focuses on working with all abandoned children, promoting engagement in education particularly for those who don't attend to school due to the mentioned and unmentioned reasons.

Our program starts sponsoring a child from 2 years to 25 years to attain quality education. A sponsored children get a full support to attain his/her studies.

4. FAMILY & FRIENDS PROGRAM

Being a parent isn’t easy, and being a single parent is even harder. Due to various reasons such as divorce, death of a spouse, abandonment and choice, women at any age can become single parents. When this happens, they are faced with a task of raising a family on their own. Woman looks into the lives of women who’ve managed to survive and thrive being single parents, and went on to help others cope with the situation.

Due to the reasons above, We saw there is a need to support these women to pay rent for their homes, electricity bills and garbage bills per each month for a period of three years. Within three years the beneficiaries of this program attend the business class which provided by the organization in order for them to gain business knowledge and at the end of the three years a woman get a small business capital credit to start her own business so as to run her own life with her children/family.

5. GREEN TANZANIA PROGRAM

This is a program designed to help youths in primary and secondary schools to learn environmental protection at young age and to formulate environmental clubs at their schools where they will discuss and discover new ideas of protecting environment and to generate the youths with great passion, pleasure and knowledge on environmental degradation problems where the program cover Tanzania in general.

Also the program based on seedling and growing trees, and after few period of time we provide the trees to the community(s). This program has among its components, issues that address environmental awareness, fruit tree planting with particular emphasis to multipurpose trees and species especially fruit trees for nutrition in schools.

UPCOMING PROGRAMS

1.DAY CARE AND PRE-SCHOOL

Large number of our communities we serve are of low income, they can’t afford to take their children to big daycare centers, which has resulted us to establish our own daycare and preschool centers where we will charge a small contribution from their parents so as to help them to go work and earn something for their families.

We have two centers we need to work with; The one at our head offices (Mianzini-Arusha), and the other at our sub-office at Olsunyai village-Arusha.

2. WOMEN EMPOWERMENT THROUGH TAILORING (Sewing) TRAINING PROJECT

The project designed to provide Vocational Training and basic equipment to increase the household income and improve the living conditions of Widows ,Divorced, and marginalized Women in Arusha Tanzania.

100 Women would be exposed to training techniques mainly designed to develop their skills and performance in Tailoring. Training topics set out to meet their training needs and to overcome their difficulties.
