Primary Purpose

Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for both functional business support and application technical support of multiple assigned applications. Serves as an internal consultant to resolve functional and/or technical problems; supports the design, construction, testing and implementation phases of a system and/or upgrade project; recommends improvements to vendor strategy, application usage or process.

Duties And Responsibilities

Three to five to years’ experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 with focus on CRM required.

Experience In Functional Configurations Of Dynamics CRM Required.

In-depth hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform, the entity model, security model, and Web services.

Experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics (architecture, development, rollout maintenance, data management, migration) required.

Experience in all levels of development (e.g., configuration, workflows and plugins).

Knowledge of basic database and structured queries SQL, and database applications required

Experience with creating structured SQL queries for reporting and isolating data issues.

Knowledge of working with PowerBI preferred.

The candidate must have the ability to study current practices, think outside the box, and foster creative analysis to complex problems.

Candidate should be able to contribute in group meetings, provide project updates, write functional/training documents, and relay information accurately to other parties

Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management.

Assures high-quality customer service to all customers.

Maintains good attendance and punctuality per the absence policy.

May assist with coordination of workflow, training, and mentoring of support staff, as required

Evaluates and recommends business process improvements within the scope of supported business applications.

Complies with and manages change control processes through project completion. Ensures that design standards and conventions are adhered to and continually improved.

Develops, reviews, and elicits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution and develops functional design specifications.

Plans and manages testing activities to ensure quality results including development of testing methodology, development of testing plans and scripts, execution and review of testing.

Plans, develops, implements, and maintains assigned applications including setup and parameter changes to meet evolving business and user needs.

Remains abreast of changes and developments in the industry. Establishes and maintains a network of professional relationships both inside and outside the corporation. Represents BSI through participation in national, regional and/or local professional organizations.

Plans, develops, implements and maintains security roles and responsibilities to meet evolving business and user needs in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Delivers presentations, communicates relevant project information to management and peers in other practices, and serves as key participant in team and customer meetings.

Interfaces with staff to ensure project completion (e.g., shares knowledge and best practices, ensures effective communication).

Serves as a support resource and subject matter expert for assigned applications.

Develops and manages vendor relationships to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.

Performs all other duties, at the discretion of management, as assigned.

Requirements

Interact with business functional users and executives to understand business requirements.

Participates in migration and release management processes and is able to perform other Dynamics system admin duties as needed.

Provide full back-end system administration tasks and day to day support.

Responsible for User experience, including onboarding, licenses/permissions, training, gathering feedback and troubleshooting problems

Responsible for building Flows, Workflows and Process Builds, sales maps, and other processes as needed

Advice on complex Microsoft Dynamics CRM business cases and propose comprehensive solutions based on Dynamics CRM.

Create functional requirement, estimates, and functional design for projects and/or enhancements.

Knowledge/Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Knowledge of automated applications systems, system development life cycle, and project management principles required.

Knowledge of applicable business application(s) required.

Licenses/Certifications

None

Experience

Five years of specific business applications experience required. To include:
• Five years progressively responsible experience in Business Systems Consulting, Information Technology, Project Lead, or equivalent.
• Experience with system implementations, upgrades, ERP implementations, application configuration, systems analysis, requirements definition, unit/functional/system integration testing, and production support.
