ECMHSP is a nationally recognized leader in childcare and early education who is committed to preparing Migrant and Seasonal Farmworkers children for success.
We are currently looking for a Center Cook to fill a vacant position in Lafayette, Indiana.
The basic functions of this position include being responsible for all phases of center food services program including proper food preparation, storage, sanitation, USDA/Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) documentation/reports and inventory.
Minimum requirements:
Preferred: Associates degree in Culinary Arts or ServSafe Food Manager’s Certificate and documented years of related experience in quantity cooking.
Accepted: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and documented years of related experience in quantity cooking.
Experience working with Latino community, knowledge of the Latino migrant farmworker culture/lifestyle. Head Start experience preferred. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
