DATA ACQUISITION SPECIALIST
POSITION SUMMARY
This Data Acquisition Specialist is an entry level position that builds and maintains construction community relationships to collect information on private construction projects in the Planning phase. This position focuses on daily outbound calls, email communication, internet research, document management and data entry. Additional responsibilities include researching, assessing, acquiring, verifying, and inputting private, planning stage construction project information into DCN's proprietary database. Accurate and timely data entry is also mission critical. Ability to grow from within our company.
This position reports directly to the Data Acquisition Manager.
LOCATION
For this position, the work is remote but there is a preference to hire in the Mountain or Pacific Time Zones.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build and maintain relationships with construction industry professionals such as architects, engineers, owners, contractors, etc.
• Conduct telephone calls or send emails to industry professionals to obtain construction information on new projects as well as updates to existing projects. The focus is projects in the predesign or design phase
• This role also acquires data by researching digital sites to identify and capture key construction related information
• Identify and input accurate construction data into DCN's database to support our customers' needs
• Meet daily production requirements
• Handle Customer Care Inquiries
• Achieve defined goals in data accuracy levels, completeness, and timeliness of data entry
• Follow competitive efforts and news: competitive research
• An organized home office set up away from distraction is vital for success
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Construction industry experience a plus
• Outbound call experience preferred
• Computer proficiency: Email, Microsoft word, Excel required
• Tableau a plus
• Excellent organization/time management skills, disciplined to process a large volume of accurate work
• Proven track record of working effectively in an independent, remote environment is required
• Strong (oral and written) communication skills
• Excellent communication and research skills
• Positive, professional demeanor
• Ability to work well under pressure and collaborate effectively with others in order to meet deadlines
• Effective problem solving and troubleshooting abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Independent, disciplined work success is essential for this remote role

COMPENSATION
Dodge Construction Network (DCN) provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role may be eligible for a market competitive bonus upon accepted offer. Salary Range: $16.83 to $18.26.
