Operations Assistant (Back of House)
OVERALL DUTIES:
The Operations Assistant is responsible for the general maintenance and overall organization of the stock areas and assists management in controlling inventory and loss prevention
Responsibilities:
Determine and make necessary changes ensuring proper storage for the protection of assets. The organization also included systematic placement for easy access for the selling team to locate stock quickly.
Responsible for checking in all products and verifying the accuracy of the shipmentsResponsible for the shipment of customer purchases, store transfers, and warehouse transfersResponsible for making necessary adjustments for shortages, overages, and damages and communicating to the operations department the essential informationMaintain accurate records and reports of all incoming and outgoing transfers, purchase orders, shortages, overages, and issues as they pertain to store stockCompile and file all documents about stock movement following proper proceduresAssist visual with stock rotations and window changes, as well as appropriate storage of visual props to protect company assetsCoordinate the disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete propsEnsure all garments are adequately prepared for sales floor presentationConsistently maintaining a stock of store suppliesAssist management with the preparation of store inventory and ensuring stock areas maintain inventory preparedness throughout the yearSupport selling floor when necessary.
And other duties assigned from time to time
Requirements:
Prior experience in retail stockroom is preferablePhysical capability to lift a minimum of 30 poundsStrong organizational skills about all store productSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyPossesses strong interpersonal and communication skillsProficient computer skillsMax Mara is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
