Job Description

Brand Specialists will plan, implement, control, analyze and report on information gathered in line with assigned tasks for the cycle. Attention to detail and accuracy is critical to your success in this role as the information you gather supports our client’s ability to make informed market decisions.

The different types of calls that you are required to conduct will include, but will not be limited to:
• Service & sales Calls
• Research Calls
• Knowledge-transfer Calls
• Formal Training Calls
• Audit & Mystery Shopper Calls
• Merchandising Calls
• Demographic & Outlet Profiling
• Telephonic Calls
• Booking Calls
• Delivery Calls
• Virtual Calls

Call types can be carried out across multiple projects and brands across diverse industry types simultaneously within a cycle; with each call type assigned unique KPI’s. A call cycle is currently 2 months (subject to change) and may be amended from time to time based on business needs.

The successful Brand Specialist will be able to observe and capture qualitative data, trends, strategies, and competitor information. They possess the ability to adapt to different sectors (retail, schools, hospitals, banks, etc.) and work within the formal trade (traditional retail environment), as well as emerging markets (informal).

Qualifications
• Matric Certificate
• Valid drivers license with access to your own roadworthy certified vehicle
• A smartphone (Android/ IOS operating system) with a battery life to support data exchange and capturing during a full work day
• A vaccination card indicating a full and complete vaccination history for COVID-19, including booster shots completed

Additional Information
• Ability to work in the informal and formal sector
• Capacity to work full days Monday to Saturday (retail hours)
• Assessible telephonically during working hours and after-hours
• Demonstrated ability to in a high pressure, fast paced environment
• Proven ability to work independently and apply critical thinking
• Proficient use of technology (mobile) to conduct daily activities
