The Program: The Sexual Assault and Family Trauma (SAFET) Response Center is an

outpatient program that serves primarily children in addition to adult refugees and adults who are

recent victims of crime.

The Role: The Clinical Supervisor provides supervision to our team of outpatient providers,

provides counseling services to both youth and adult clients, carries out agency policies, remains

professionally current, and represents the agency in the community.

Essential Job Functions
• Support the therapeutic activities of assigned supervisees to ensure that high-quality clinical services are provided that adhere to recognized standards and practices of the mental health field
• Provide consultation, support, annual performance evaluation and direction to those supervised
• Provide culturally appropriate counseling to individuals, families, and groups
• Monitor the adherence to clinical procedures and policies and participate in the quality assurance efforts
• Maintain all required paperwork
• Demonstrate awareness and sensitivity in the delivery of client services as it relates to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the populations served
• Model and encourage direct, professional communication among staff members, and facilitate development of a positive staff support network

Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or closely related field (required).
• Licensed mental health provider in Washington State (LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Clinical Psychologist).
• Prior experience with mental health clients (experience with community mental health service delivery preferred).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Successful Completion of Local, State and Federal Background Checks
