You will be working with a young, nimble and small finance team. We look after the
accounts for the businesses in: Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, Zambia, Madagascar, South
Africa and Mauritius.
• Making payments across different countries and platforms.
• Reconciliations.
• Audits.
• Tax (income tax, VAT, withholding tax, duties and more!)
• Keeping records. Governance. Controls. And more!
• Making sure there is enough money where it needs to be when it is needed!
• Budgets. Forecasts. Modelling.
Skills Required
? Self-starter & proactive
? People-centric and great communicator
? Happy to work with new technology and evolving systems
? Able to work remotely
? Happy to take on and own new challenges and new projects
? Interest in tax, accounting, payments
Education and Experience:
? Very comfortable communicating (Speaking, Reading, Writing) in English
? Degree or qualification in accounts and/or finance
? Audit experience a bonus
