Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Planner to join our team in Nelspruit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction planning, with the ability to manage complex projects and timelines.
Duties & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management, or a related field
• At least 3-5 years of experience in construction planning or a similar field
• Proficient in Primavera, MS Projects, and MS Office
• Strong data analysis and mathematical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
• Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera and MS Projects
• Create and maintain project budgets, working with project managers and other team members to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure that project timelines are aligned with business objectives
• Analyze data and identify trends to inform project planning and decision-making
• Communicate and report on project progress to project managers and other stakeholders
• Continuously monitor project timelines and budgets, making adjustments as necessary to keep projects on track
• Identify and manage project risks, working with project managers and other team members to mitigate risks and minimize impact on project timelines and budgets
