Master project scheduler delivers project from ground break to commercial operation.

You are a Renewable Energy project controls specialist with a track record of managing project schedules to mitigate delivery risks and ensure on-time delivery of project milestones.
What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)
You will be responsible for the overall project planning reporting and updating for the project team on site as well as projects in the bid phase. You will develop project planning programmes and ensure solutions to complex problems using your detailed knowledge of renewable energy and best practices. You will liaise with internal project teams as well as contractors to obtain, interrogate, and incorporate into the schedules. You will also be required to develop a training programme in order to upskill the existing project teams
Where you'll be doing it
You will be based on site in the Northern Cape, on a 2-year fixed terms contract. With monthly weekends home. You will be working for a well-known civil construction project house, contracted to an industry leader in the renewable energy industry.
What you'll need
Sound technical working knowledge of EPC Wrap and Construction projects. Strong MS projects experience, in order to develop training material and train thereon. A tertiary qualification in Engineering or Construction field, combined with a minimum of 5 years as a site planner with at least 2 years working in renewable energy projects. You will need to be willing to be site based in Northern Cape for the duration of the project.
