Introduction
An opportunity is available in Atlantis, Western Cape for a qualified and experienced Key Accounts Manager. This is a multi-faceted role, requiring a high-energy professional with a background in sales and customer management. The incumbent will report to the Operations Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Achieve and improve upon the annual agreed sales turnover as to achieve maximum profit (individual sales versus actual sales achieved)
• Complete monthly sales forecasts (versus actual sales achieved)
• Continuously improve and expand the current customer base and identify new markets and conversion opportunities
• Monitor actual sales budgets and targets
• Continuous update of price guidelines
• Provide price and product information to customers and potential customers
• Negotiate product specification
• Manage customer queries and complaints
• Monitor orders against the delivery plan and ensure that delivery dates are met
• Actively monitor and maintain debtors to ensure that all debt is being controlled
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications:
• Required: Completed postgrad tertiary qualification in Sales and/or Marketing.
• Required: Intermediate Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Office
• Required: Valid driver’s license – involves travelling
• Preferred: Proven sales record
Job Requirements:
• At least 3 years experience in a similar position
• Experience in the Plastic Industry an advantage
• Ability to work independently
• Good timekeeping is essential
