SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER: PFMA & PUBLIC SECTOR - 12 MONTHS CONTRACT POSITION
LOCATION Edenvale
POSITION TYPE Fixed Term contract (12 Months)

SALARY R 1 133 920 CTC Per Annum

QUALIFICATIONS
- Three-year Degree in Commerce/ Finance/ Supply Chain Management or B.Tech equivalent.
- CA(SA) would be advantageous
EXPERIENCE
- At least Five (5) years' experience in the field of public procurement, preferably in a PFMA-governed public entity environment
- Proven experience in contract management and project management
- Proven experience in financial management
- Working knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (Act no 5 of 2000),
- Working knowledge of Supply Chain Regulations including latest issued ones, policy development and procedures
JOB DUTIES /RESPONSIBILITIES
- To oversee the functions of the supply chain management (SCM) and assetmanagement unit by ensuring compliance with PFMA, National TreasuryRegulations, PPPFA and other relevant legislation in managing the procurementof goods and services of the Regulator.
- To develop, implement and maintain the supply chain management and assetmanagement system and policy, as well as to oversee and manage the overallsupply chain management operations, including demand, acquisition, logistics,disposal, and performance & risk management of SCM.
- To design and implement Supply Chain management (SCM) and assetmanagement strategies and procedures and policies
- This person will also review the SCM performance and policy and makerecommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of SCM in line withPFMA, National Treasury Regulations, PPPFA and other relevant [URL Removed]

Desired Skills:
• Public procurement in a PFMA-governed public entity
