Opportunity Available!! Our leading client in the FMCG Sector is looking to employ a Senior HR Officer to join their dynamic team in Humansdorp.
Key Performance Areas:
• This role will be a business partner to line management and employees and ensure effective compliance to all human resource policies and procedures.
• Play a supporting role in a generalist capacity to the HR Managers to achieve departmental objectives and service delivery.
• Providing recruitment and selection of suitable candidates. Liaising with employees, handling queries and dissemination of information.
• Assist with payroll & compensation administration for all employees.
• Maintain and store employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
• Build, support, sustainable interpersonal & team relationships to ensure stable working environment & achievement of team objectives.
• Support line management with corrective action issues and represent the company at the CCMA.
• Responsible for processing employee termination procedures and exit interviews.

Knowledge and Skills:
• This position requires an individual with a Degree in Human Resources and 3-5 years related Human Resources experience preferably gained in a manufacturing environment.
• The successful candidate must be confident, diplomatic and be able to effectively manage conflict, be resilient under pressure and resolve issues.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to interact across all levels within the organisation ensuring the timeous flow of relevant information.
• Be service delivery and relationship focused to both internal and external customers.
• Strong administration skills with attention to detail and achievement deadlines is critical in this position. Proficiency in Microsoft Packages is a requirement.
• The successful candidate should have full generalist experience.
• The position requires a highly ethical and reliable individual and the ability to form working relationships with people at all levels. The ability to work within a HRIS environment preferably SAGE 300 is required.
• Experience in medical aid reconciliation, working knowledge of EEA, LRA, Skills Development Act, and BCEA.
