Employer Description
An Upmarket Game Lodge located in the Eastern Cape, roughly 1 hour from Port Elizabeth.
Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description
• Full accounting function for 4 entities (from processing to balance sheet)
• Support for 2 small entities (no processing)
• Payroll processing and pay out for 2 entities (+/- 180 employees)
• HR administration – contracts, processing leave, processing disciplinary documents etc.
• SARS submissions: VAT / PAYE / EMP501 + EMP201
• Monthly Management Account Statement for 2 entities (note: this is NOT standard financial statements)
• Budget preparations bi-annually
• Annual preparation of audit pack for auditors (4 entities)
• Various other related duties as required from time to time.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications
BCom Degree in Accounting or similar.
Skills
5+ years’ experience in similar position. Experience in cloud-based accounting & payroll software, preferably Xero & PaySpace. Budgeting Experience. Management Accounts Experience. Willing to live on-site.
Package & Remuneration
Salary / Package
R35,000-R40,000 Gross Salary per month commensurate with experience.
