Accountant required for a boutique accounting firm based in East London.
Requirements / Experience:
• 3 years’ experience in an Accounting Firm essential
• Bcom Accounting degree essential
• A strong command of the Afrikaans language essential
• Sage / Pastel experience essential
• Understand and adhere to financial and accounting regulations and legislation
• Analyse accounting systems used by businesses to look for inaccuracies and potential improvements or error correction
• Carrying out full bookkeeping function
• Attending SARS verification and audits
• Preparing and submitting IRP5’s and EMP501 recons
• Assisting with monthly/ bi – monthly/quarterly financial and management accounts preparation
• Assisting with managing client expectations and deadlines
