EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract - retainer-based for a fixed 5 days per month for Sales activities. Additional days are possible if contracted for training, audits, or projects.

LOCATION:

Remote/Home-Based in South Africa around key automotive manufacturing areas.

Eastern Cape: East London (office available) or Port Elizabeth

KZN: Durban

Gauteng: Pretoria (office available)

ENCONA supports the growth of its clients in the global manufacturing industry through the delivery of training, consulting, auditing, and project management. We are expanding, and are seeking a Solutions Specialist. This contract role is responsible for the development of new and existing business for Clients within the automotive and/or aerospace sector, aligned to specific propositions, and managing key accounts within a defined territory.

You will be responsible for developing relationships with Clients, understanding their needs and problems, and providing tailored solutions from ENCONA’s product offerings for our Clients. The role works in close partnership with the Sales Manager and other internal stakeholders to proactively drive gross sales and revenue. Furthermore, you will be part of the project team to provide your high-quality expertise in training or consulting to earn additional income.

To be considered for this role, you will have
• AS9100 skills
• IATF16949 certification
• VDA 6.3 knowledge
• Automotive Core Tools and Customer-Specific Requirements knowledge
• 10 years of automotive manufacturing or related manufacturing experience
• 5 years of training experience
• Experience in sales and marketing preferred
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
• Own vehicle

Along with project management and quality management experience, you will hold a degree from an accredited college, preferably in business or engineering. The role will require you to have proven negotiation and customer relationship skills and a drive for growth and service excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Marketing

(5 days per month)

± Manage relationships with assigned clients.

± Initiate and pursue all action plans to unlock new clients (strong focus here).

± Provide performance reports to Sales Manager to include, but not limited to tracking sales pipeline, client interactions, and order conversion.

± Assists with timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all products and services while striving to maintain a maximum profit margin.

± Conducts customer presentations to place ENCONA BU services.

± Maintains professional relationships with GNP trainers and consultants.

± Takes ownership of customer care and implements programs where needed.

± Coordinate sales activities with Sales Manager and operations.

± Structure, negotiate and provide solutions to close deals.

± Proactively identify pipeline opportunities, governed by the Operation Directors.

± Develop the sales strategy for their proposition within their territory.

Service Provision – BU1 Academy (ad hoc)

± Where specified in the contract, conduct training where EAC/ VDA training module ID planning approvals exist. Present training programs using recognized training techniques and tools.

± Availability for training for ENCONA as a priority, given agreed and fair advance notification.

± Development of training materials.

± Follow up with clients after training for future needs analysis.

± Upskill self as an ENCONA trainer within area of expertise.

Service Provision – BU2 Consulting (ad hoc)

± Develop leads with clients to solve their quality issues and assist in development and problem-solving.

± Where specified in the contract, act as a consultant or auditor in projects.

± Manage and coordinate GNP Consultants when they are involved in consulting projects.

± Provide feedback from clients about consultant performance and satisfaction to Sales Manager.

± Where and when required, to attend meetings with clients and the ENCONA Sales Manager to provide guidance and expertise on solutions.
