Our well-established client requires an experienced Area Business Manager to be based in the Free State, servicing that province as well as the North West and Northern Cape provinces. Suitable candidates based in any central location between the Free State, Northern Cape and the North West are welcome to apply.
The role reports to the National Sales Manager and works closely with the sales and marketing teams, especially the Marketing Manager.
This is an exciting career opportunity to manage dealer sales and marketing within the area ensuring that sales targets and growth strategies are successfully implemented to drive company growth. You will work with great products and great people!
The role will encompass some of the following duties:
• Market intelligence research and competitor analysis
• Implementation of a strong sales focus across all group brands and product categories
• Monthly and quarterly reporting
• Business analysis on key dealers and product line performance reviews
• Proactive and strategic plan implementation
• Development of exceptional product knowledge within the dealer portfolio and continuous development of this knowledge base
Requirements:
• Matric plus a tertiary sales or marketing qualification
• A minimum of 5 years in a sales environment working with a deal-based distribution method
• Strong commercial acumen, understanding of pricing methodology and sales principles
• Full computer literacy (Microsoft Office and IT systems in general)
• Superb communication skills (English and Afrikaans language ability)
• Proven customer and staff relationship management ability.
