Our client in Kestell Free State deals with food process and trading internationally. They are looking to recruit a Depot Manager (Silo Bags) to come join their team and gain new skills.
Duties & Responsibilities

EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Permanent
SECTOR : Manufacturing / Warehousing
START DATE : A.S.A.P / Immediate
DUTIES:
• Coordinate and maintain silo bag depot
• Staff management
• Quantity and quality of stock
• Stock management
• Prepare soil and placement of bags
• Site and equipment maintenance
• Petty cash and consumables purchases
• Maintain PPECB records
• Daily site inspections
• Ensure bags are measured
• Ensure rodent and weed control are in place
• Daily report to head office on all site inspections
• Weekly depot report
• Monthly closure of contracts and stock take
• Security, Health & Safety and Compliance management
• Administration
• Ad hoc duties
REQUIREMENTS:
• 10 years’ experience in a similar role
• Certified in soya beans, wheat and maize
• Fumigation certified
• Health & Safety Certified
• Must reside near Kestell (no relocation applications)
• Hands on experience
• Excel under pressure
• Ability to prioritize, plan and affectively solve problems
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to handle conflict professionally
• Critical thinker with emotional resilience
• Customer service focused
• Solution driven and self-managed individual
