Purpose of the Job
• Responsible for servicing existing customers, as well as for increasing market share through new customer acquisition.
Your key responsibilities will be:
• Drive sales acquisition through identifying new markets and conversion opportunities
• Manage Key Accounts
• Continuously improve and expand the customer base
• Clearly understand customer requirements and forecasts
• Ensure production planning meets the requirements for your customers
• Monitor customers stock levels
• Develop and maintain market intelligence to ensure detailed knowledge of competitors and product trends
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ensure customer satisfaction through service delivery
• Implement and maintain customer record files
Job Requirements:
• ± 3-5 years experience in sales acquisition and account management (packaging industry advantageous)
• Outgoing, driven, sales maverick with proven track record of success
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Customer service orientated with focused attention to detail
• Valid driver's license essential
• Ability to work under pressure
Qualifications:
• Grade 12
• Sales and Marketing Degree / Diploma advantageous
