Purpose of the job:
To obtain good output, extraction, and Maize quality by adjustments and control of the milling plant. The target is to obtain optimum milling performance.
Responsibilities:
Extraction and milling gain (Screens room set-up)
Quality consistency
Millers Maintenance & preparation
Overall Plant Efficiency
Safe working practices
Housekeeping
Standard operating procedures
Invocom» facilitation and coaching
Ensure manufacturing according FSSC 22000 standards
Qualification Requirements
Matric
GMF Module 4 and Trade Test
Maize grading and fumigation will be an added advantage
HACCP will be an added advantage
Experience Requirements
5 Years' experience after Trade test
OEE Knowledge
Be familiar with PLC operated plant
Have worked at least in a 20 ton per hour Mill

Competencies (knowledge, skills and attributes):
Ability to function in a team
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work under pressure
Be self-motivated
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Other Requirements:
Pressurised environment
6-day position
Stand in for millers when going on annual leave or scheduled training
Required to work Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays and 24/7 standby
