Project System Administrator Automotive ~ Manufacturing

You will take responsibility and accountability for all Tooling process-related project activities. Design, develop, revise and implement manufacturing processes and procedures, tooling and work instructions that support engineering and estimating efforts to ensure optimum costing and coordination of jobs that meet customer requirements while achieving manufacturing cost quality and productivity.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Relevant Technical qualification
• Above-average knowledge of manufacturing processes and products.
• Ability to use logic and reason to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
• Established organisational skills and attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead APQP relative to Tooling & Processes
• Maintain process flow charts, layouts & floor plans
• Co-ordinate the change control process
• Initiate & procure tooling to support new current processes
• Initiate & maintain Processes Instruction sheets
• Ensure the capability of current processes
• Ensure process capability of new processes before hand over to the Production
• Take the lead in process audits
• Develops process parameter for new programs
• Provides manufacturing-related design input
• Provides manufacturing process technical support for existing platforms
• Develop Work Standards for each process assigned
• Support Kaizen Teams when process/equipment expertise is needed
• Continually improve upon the current process
• Develop layouts with continuous process flow
• Any additional reasonable request deemed necessary by management
• Advise management of those situations which may pose a significant risk to the program, product assurance, and employee safety or customer satisfaction results.
• Present recommendations to management through the development of quotation comparisons for equipment, tooling, and other purchases.
