Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Health Administration, Business Administration, Computer Science, Geographic Studies, or a related discipline); Master's degree preferred.

The Project Lead/Project Manager will play a critical role in the development and implementation of the National Health Master Planning Software Application/System for South Africa, an ambitious initiative aimed at revolutionizing the country's healthcare system through the use of cutting-edge technology and data-driven planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of skilled professionals to deliver this large-scale, complex project in collaboration with key stakeholders from government, private sector, and civil society.
In this role, the Project Lead/Project Manager will ensure the successful completion of project milestones, manage risks, and deliver high-quality results within the project's scope, schedule, and budget. This individual will leverage their expertise in project management methodologies, management consulting, and the health sector to drive the project's success, while also utilizing their knowledge of software development and system implementation.
As the leader of this project, the Project Lead/Project Manager will not only provide strategic direction but also serve as a liaison between various stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. This role requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of the South African healthcare landscape and its key players. The Project Lead/Project Manager will contribute to the improvement of the nation's healthcare system by ensuring the successful development and implementation of the National Health Master Planning Software Application/System for South Africa.
