We are looking for a buyer to join a portable branding solutions company based in Durban.
You will be responsible for:
• Researching and identifying new suppliers and products that meet our standards and specifications
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers and vendors
• Negotiating prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
• Placing orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods
• Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed
• Evaluating product quality and performance and providing feedback to suppliers
• Collaborating with other departments such as marketing sales, and finance to ensure alignment of goals and strategies
Qualifications
• Tertiary Education in procurement, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field beneficial
• At least 2 years of experience as a buyer in a textile or FMCG environment
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Proficiency in Sage
• Beneficial
Salary: R10 000
• R15 000 Cost to Company Dependant on experience
