We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified, and experienced, Cost and Management Accountant with large, stable company based in Durban North Area.
Minimum Requirements:
• Degree in Cost and Management Accounting, or equivalent
• Min 5 years' Pastel experience
• Min 5 years work experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in the foundry industry would be preferable
Skills Required:
• Numeracy and Mathematical skills
• Communicate (speak, write and listen) clearly
• Analytical thinking
• Computer Literate (MS Office and Pastel)
Key Performance Areas:
• Cost Accounting function within the company incorporating standard costing system
• Inventory counts on a quarterly base
• PASTEL System administrator support
• Support on all inventory related matters
• Fixed Assets administrator
• Management accounting support for Financial Manager
• Budget control
• Factory overhead cost management
