Our client based in Durban is looking for a Project Manager Level 1 to join their team.
This is a contract role.
Responsibilities of Project Management:
• Ability to Initiate, facilitate and produce Project Planning for small to medium size & complexity
• Manage Risk and Issue Management with Risk planning, identification, and mitigation
• Ability to gain domain of Compliance in BU, prioritize and action on issues escalated within BU
• Understand Derivco & Team culture by displaying & living Company Values & Principals
• Work in an ethical, smart, and committed manner
• Ability to facilitate meetings and create Action items to be followed up on committed dates
• Present Status Delivery Plans & Reporting in a quality and easily consumable manner to Internal & External Stakeholders
Specific for PM in PX: (added bonus if have)
• Worked in IT Delivery business
• Familiar with SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)
• Project sizes are Small & Medium but potentially run multiple projects at the same time
• Having Banking domain would help due to this being the primary product
• Minimum 3 years PM experience OR 2 years PM experience and 1 year experience in software or IT environment // relevant tertiary qualification
