What is on offer?

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the team based in Durban.

The primary functions of your role, in line with the Responsibilities are outlined below:
• Functionally responsible to the Branch Manager for the management of the day-to-day operation within the AHK Administration Department to ensure that operationally and managerially, an efficient and high-quality service is provided in order to meet reporting deadlines and priorities agreed with AHK Head Office and clients.

Responsibilities
• The organization and process of the daily workload to meet the agreed work schedules and targets.
• Maintaining the most cost-effective utilization of resources within this Department.
• Maintaining the management and archiving of all jobs, and that an effective and efficient system operates for their availability and return.
• Ensuring client communication such as quotes, job inquiries, complaints etc. are circulated to appropriate parties with complaints being brought to the immediate attention of Management.
• Ensuring at all times that a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is applied within AHK Administration through incorporating and promoting good office practices.
• Advising the Branch Manager of repetitive administration problems relating to day-to-day administration procedures.
• Maintaining record keeping, such that work is clearly and easily auditable, and traceable.
• Ensuring equipment is maintained in a working and calibrated state, reporting issues where necessary.
• Ensuring consumable stock holdings are maintained to support effective work and on-time delivery.
• Ensuring office areas are kept clean and tidy, with unwanted materials and debris being removed.
• Undertaking other duties of an appropriate nature in consultation with immediate management.
• Maintaining a professional standard and appearance during office hours and while promoting the company when on company business.
• Ensuring the Company's Health & Safety policy is applied effectively in areas under the Post Holder's control.
• Other ad hoc duties as may be requested by your immediate management from time to time.

• Highly proficient in English (verbal and written)

• Must have own transport and a valid driver's license
• Must have sober habits
• No criminal record

Required Qualifications
• Matric with Maths
