Technical Sales Executive Sales

Our client, a manufacturing company that supplies to a large & diverse customer base, is looking for a Technical Sales Executive to join their innovative team in Durban.
Requirements:
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Technical experience - preferably in manufacturing, construction, or civil engineering
• Be open to travel nationally
Key Performance Areas:
• Implement & maintain sales & project management systems to ensure successful sales execution from quoting to final sign off. This includes, amongst others, CRM, factory & delivery coordination
• Design & implement a strategic sales & marketing plan that delivers new business growth & ensures company strong presence in the market
• Objective setting, coaching, training, & performance monitoring of sales representatives & greater sales admin team
• Identify leads, manage, & call on prospects & acquire new business
• Achieve budgeted annual & monthly sales performance targets while maintaining budgeted GP
• Present monthly sales reports & realistic forecasts for sales pipeline
• Prepare & deliver quotations & follow up with key decision makers
• Develop & maintain an awareness of market behaviour & competitive trends & respond accordingly
• Regular meetings with the Manager/Director & the sales team to review weekly activities, progress & pipeline insights to customers
