Purpose of the Role:
To deliver the digital & social media strategy for the business and drive executional excellence across channels, content and community management. To proactively deliver a consistent brand experience that exponentially builds brand awareness through high-quality engagement with customers and consumers across all digital & social media platforms (website, mobile app, performance marketing, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube)
Key Responsibilities:
• Operationalise the digital & social media strategy into the business
• Deliver a world-class, consistent brand experience across all digital & social media.
• Create and manage the integrated digital & social media content calendar.
• Lead the end-to-end content creation process for all digital & social media.
• Collaborate with different business units to build and manage an internal content engine that powers digital & social media channels with relevant & compelling content.
• Execute the digital social media components of all brand campaigns.
• Be the gatekeeper of all outbound content to ensure we present a united brand.
• Drive positive engagement with customers & consumers and build a positive brand narrative across all digital & social media channels and communities.
• Lead the performance marketing offense to drive qualified traffic to The Unlimited’s digital platforms and achieve digital & social media goals (SEO, SEM, PPC, search, display, programmatic, affiliates etc.)
• Operationalise and execute the influencer & ‘influencer’ strategy & programmes
• Collaborate with internal omni-channel team to operationalise the brand-led community management offense.
• Build strong relationships and collaborate with multiple agency partners.
• Track, monitor, analyse and report digital & social media performance & KPIs.
• Distill analytics into actionable insights and dashboards that improve brand & business performance.
• Stay abreast of digital & social media news, trends, innovations, MarTech and new channel opportunities.
• Be the champion for our customers and consumers and ensure that they are held at the center of everything we do.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree (Digital, Marketing, Journalism or relevant Business Degree)
• 4 years relevant work experience
• In-depth knowledge & expertise across all digital & social media channels
• In-depth knowledge & expertise across all performance marketing levers
• Proven track record creating engaging, disruptive content that ‘stops the scroll.’
• Brand/Client-side experience + agency experience an advantage.
• Experience managing an agency & maintaining agency relationships.
• Direct Brand Management experience preferable
• Experience in digital selling
• Strong project management skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver.
• Understanding of digital & social media as a brand building tool
• Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
• Copywriting skills and experience
