The scope of activities in this role are: to assist Researchers with implementing planned field and cold storage trails, collecting data, and reporting within this citrus research portfolio, maintenance of equipment, administrative assistance, and coordinating postgraduate, e students' activities in relevant projects in the Northern production areas.
Duties & Responsibilities
• The ideal candidate must have a BSc/M Tech, preferably with experience in the applied agriculture/horticultural industry and the use of instrumentation.
• The incumbent needs to have the ability to learn new techniques and to operate technical instrumentation with limited direct supervision.
• Manage own tasks with limited supervision
• Instructing and leading a team in conducting trials or executing tasks as required.
• The candidate will be required to travel and must have a valid driver’s license.
