Hybrid Schedule
The Worker's Compensation Collector handles and resolves all medical claim follow-up and denial issues to ensure the practice receives correct reimbursement from the insurance companies.
Responsibilities
• Investigate insurance denials to identify necessary action, making calls to the payor
• Appeal claims; monitor for resolution
• Document all activities and findings
• Maintain current knowledge of internal, industry, and government regulations as applicable to denial management
• Spot trends and report them to management
• Meet established monthly collection and productivity goals
Qualifications
• Experience submitting an authorization and managing Accounts Receivable
• Demonstrated success in collecting payment (not just reviewing a certain number of claims/day)
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills
• Team Player
• Experience with eCW preferred; ability to run reports

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
