Duties & Responsibilities
COST ACCOUNTANT – ATLANTIS, Western Cape
R25 000 - R35 000 Per Month Negotiable on Qualification and Years of relevant experience
Reputable Global Automotive Manufacturing concern is offering this lucrative career opportunity within their growing concern and Finance team
One would describe you as having excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, strong attention to detail, strongly numerical and the ability to work in a team and interact with other departments
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintaining bill of material costing in SAP
• Analysis and investigation of material variances impacted by forex & inflation
• Inventory revaluation
• Inventory forecasts
• Monitoring inbound freight costs and explanation of variance to forecast
• Month-end journals
• Cash flow and working capital reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Stock counts and recons
• Assist with forecasts and budgets
• Bank / cashbook clearing
• Product profitability
• Assist Financial Manager with year-end audits
REQUIREMENTS:
• Relevant Finance Degree, B. Comm, CIMA or equivalent is essential (Cost Accounting)
• 3-5 Years cost accounting experience within automotive/manufacturing industry is required
• Highly proficient on MS Excel in terms of data analysis and interpretation
• Working knowledge of SAP or related ERP system
• Deadline driven, be prepared to work extended hours when required
• Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license
