Are you an Invoice Auditor/Freight Settlement Specialist? Our Logistics Control Centre based in Donnington, Telford has an excellent opportunity for an Invoice Auditor to join our growing Integrated Logistics team. Your Role
Our Invoice Auditors are in charge of the client billing and supplier invoice validation process, ensuring all tariffs, deadlines are respected. This is an important role which plays a vital part in contributing to month end closing and financial reporting, ensuring the continued success of our Integrated Logistics business unit. Your Responsibilities
• Able to link logistics
parameters to relevant costs via rates (buy / sell) and validate outcomes.
• Incoming invoice checks and continuous
check of unacknowledged list (Kuehne+Nagel intercompany billing).
• Preparing invoicing files to
customers.
• Explanation / documentation
of Freight Settlement process towards clients/ carriers/colleagues as well
as for internal quality reasons.
• Forward Sub Ledger, month
end treatment and check, verify all financial documents are booked
correctly or related accruals are completed correctly.
• Knowledge of and compliance
with quality standards such as GXP (good practice regulations).
• Ensure compliance with
company, industry and legal standards is adhered to across the function.
Your Skills and Experiences
• Background and experience in
logistics (ideally a forwarding agent), administration or finance.
• Established accounting or
freight invoicing knowledge with an analytical, financial background.
• Computer skills: Excel,
Word, Outlook (or Netscape) is a must.
• Ability to fulfil time-critical
tasks on time, keep to schedules and deadlines.
• A focus on customer
excellence and quality.
• Strong numerical,
organisational and interpersonal skills.
• A great team work who is able to communicate effectively.
• Successful applicants will be required to undergo government security vetting.
