Posting Details (Default Section) Posting Number 9001636 Title Adjunct Faculty - Computer Science Position Type Adjunct Faculty Department Computer Science Job Summary Responsibilities include teaching college courses in computer science. Classes scheduled during the day, evening, or online depending on enrollment. Compensation is $590 per semester hour.
Subject to criminal history check. Resume and transcripts required in addition to application. Required Education Master’s degree in computer science or master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in computer science.
Required Skills & Abilities Excellent oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills. Exhibition of respect and professionalism in a spirit of collegiality.
MS Office proficient. Ability to promote an effective environment for learning in lecture and lab experiences. Ability to teach students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
Preferred Skills & Abilities Industry certifications in C++, C#, Python and JAVA Required Experience Prefer community college teaching experience. Preferred Experience 4+ years teaching experience.Online teaching experience.
