Our client is seeking to hire permanently a Chef.
Location: Port of Spain

Job Summary:

To prepare and cook fish, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foods and prepare beverages. To plan menu items, order supplies, keep records and accounts and serve guests as required.

Major Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook food of all types;
• Estimate amounts of required supplies such as food and ingredients
• Inspect supplies, equipment and work areas to ensure conformance with established standards;
• Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies to ensure efficient operation at all times;
• Plan and develop recipes and menus in consultation with the client
• Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that quality standards are met;
• Monitor sanitation practices and ensure that the kitchen safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times;
• Perform other duties as may be determined from time to time within the general scope of the position.

Hours of Work Monday to Friday- (6:30 am-2:30pm) If required to work overtime, arrangements will be outlined.

Salary: $8,320.00
