Insurance Branch Manager – Francistown.

Key Responsibilities of the Insurance Branch Manager:
• Translates strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth, helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning.
• Drives key points of contact with external sales channels, ensuring maximum opportunities to increase gross written premium income.
• Implements sales activities and cross-sell, to achieve sales objectives as well as establishing positive relationships through key sales channels.
• Ensures relationships with Direct Clients and key personnel within broking firms, resulting in increased business for the Company.
• Maintains internal and external relationships to ensure long-term sustainable partnerships.
• Tracks the progress of service requirements on a regular basis.
• Identifies and targets new prospective profitable business.
• Assists Brokers in building successful broker businesses and in providing unique broker solutions.
• Markets, facilitates and tracks sales across Personal Lines, Commercial Lines and niche business & product (e.g. iToo.)
• Undertakes other duties as directed by the Executive Management in support of the Company strategy.

Required Qualifications of the Insurance Branch Manager:
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance / Accounting or related field.
• CoP (Short Term)

Required Experience of the Insurance Branch Manager:
• Minimum 5 years post qualifications experience in a sales role preferably in an insurance company
• Underwriting experience would be an added advantage
