Position: DIRECTOR for Conservation
of Natural Ecosystems Trust - 'CONNECT'
The Conservation of Natural Ecosystems Trust is looking for an energetic, mature person with a proven passion for the bush and the ability to problem solving who wants to become actively involved in conservation under challenging conditions and in remote areas. Minimum requirements include at least 10 years experience in wildlife management, a minimum of 8 years of game capture experience including translocations and animal husbandry; a Ph.D. degree in Biology or Ecology, a proven track record of applying for, receiving and managing funding grants and large donations, 4x4 driving experience, a driver's license, have strong communication, computer and administrative skills, as well as extensive experience in using GIS computer software and electronic tracking of wildlife. Applicants must be enthusiastic, hard-working, self-motivated, and dedicated. Please note that this is a 50% field-based position.
