Thompson Dallas is a luxury hotel located within The National, Dallas’ newest urban luxury mixed-use project. Essentials include 219 rooms with 52 suites; three full-service offerings for dining and drink; a boutique spa and fitness experience focused on wellness, a variety of spaces for events, including the 14,000 square foot National Ballroom; plus stunning skyline views from the 2 acre 9 th floor pool deck, which houses a long list of unparalleled amenities.

As a Pool Server, you will work at our incredible 9 th floor outdoor pool with amazing downtown views, greeting guests and recommending and serving our finest food and beverage creations while providing 5-star service and creating an unforgettable experience.
You will be responsible for menu knowledge, answering guest questions and selling food and beverage options, as well as serving guests and residents and engaging in casual conversation with guests and residents on the pool deck. You will also work as a team player partnering with our pool bartenders and pool hosts to exceed team goals and customer service goals. Other duties may be assigned by Food and Beverage leadership team as necessary.
Please note that this is a seasonal position from mid-April to mid-October. Dates may vary depending on business levels and weather.
Qualifications
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fun fast-paced environment.
• Refined communication skills
• Multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Thorough beverage knowledge and a desire to always stay current with cocktail curation knowledge and innovation beyond basics.
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment in spring/summer conditions.
• Food Handlers and TABC Certifications required.
• Ability to work flexible schedules that include evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work AM (9am to 4pm) or PM shifts (2pm to 9pm) - Shifts are subject to change.
• Must be able to work Saturday and Sundays.
• Luxury/Upscale boutique hotel/resort experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift moderate amounts of weight.
