To assist Head Cook in preparation and presentation of International food and menu requirements in line with the clients specifications for 1000+ customers, 3 times/per day. Practice good housekeeping and personal hygiene, health, and safety / HACCP food hygiene procedures. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
• Ensure all work is carried out as per the client specification
• Control the food quality, presentation, and service as per the required standards defined by the client
• Liaise with head cook/head chef to discuss day to day operational requirements, achievements and improvements and take necessary action accordingly.
• Ensure areas of responsibility meet the approved organization quality audits and maintain all HACCP temperature monitoring sheets of produced food on a daily basis.
• Ensure the correct storage of goods and that stock rotation procedures are maintained.
• Ensure preparation of all menu items as per requirements and ensure smooth and timely supply of products to all concerned units.
• Ensure food products per shift are ready on time and presented as per the company standards.
• To ensure that the standards required by the Chef Manager in the day to day running of the operations are met
• To ensure that Valiant's SOPs and the Client process requirements are performed.
• Coordinate with Head Cook on wastage control measures.
• Check all kitchen equipment is in working condition and inform any malfunctioning to the Head Cook/Head Chef immediately.
• Ensure adequate operating knowledge of kitchen equipment
• Cooperate with superiors for receiving training for upgrading know-how and skills
• Ensure the correct storage of hot and cold food items
• Perform any other task assigned by superior within the scope of the job
Position Requirements
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Cook
• Experience working in an international, dynamic and multicultural environment based in remote regions.
• Understanding of food hygiene, food handling, and food storage concepts according HACCP
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work in remote and arduous locations,
• Medium to high security threat
• Must be in a good physically and mentally condition capable to work in a dynamic multicultural environment based in remote location with limited infrastructure and the requirement only for basic medical provisions on site.
