Summary

As Sales Manager Mining, your mission is to manage and develop the customer portfolio for which you are responsible on the assigned territory.

What will be your responsibilities?

Continuous prospecting

• Prospect the designated market, in collaboration with local sales teams

• Develop the BML's client portfolio

• Provide a monthly report on developments in designated territories

• Explore new business prospects for existing customers

• Analyze and report on competitors’ market, their products and commercial offers (including sharing with the team)

Strategy and customer care

• Support and implement the strategy defined in the BML

• Maintain and improve customer relations in designated territories

• Regularly visit customers on site or HQ

• Develop and maintain customer records on the CRM

• Develop the Cross Functional Team to ensure cross-departmental collaboration in the delivery of sales offers

• Supervise the offers of the sales representatives based in the territory

Negotiation and sales of equipment and accessories

• Carry out and negotiate equipment and accessory offers with the customers

• Supervise and control orders

• Ensure that the rules related to financing and control of financial & legal risks established by BIA Group are respected

• Contribute to the achievement of the BUC's business objectives

Product knowledge

• Update knowledge of manufacturers' machines in order to respond effectively to customers' needs

• Ensure the dissemination of information to the sales representatives based in the territories

Reporting

• Establish and follow up regularly the Order Book which includes the different offers, in progress, missed, amongst others

• Establish a monthly report on the status of customers and activities

• Establish a quarterly rolling forecast of sales

Who are we looking for?

• University education or equivalent experience

• Minimum 5 years of Commercial experience in a similar sector

• Knowledge of the mining sector / BTP

• Experience in international organizations

• Microsoft tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• General knowledge of Finance is a plus

• 20% of business travel

• Soft skills: Commercial acumen, Result oriented, Customer focus, Influence & Persuasion, Initiative & Pro-activity
